Speech-Language Pathologist (posted 7-13-10)

Kids on the Move, a unique rehabilitation program in central Vermont, is seeking a full time speech-language pathologist. Emphisis is placed on the provision of therapy in the natural/home environment. Caseload includes children through young adults ages 0-21 years old.
Candidate must hold a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university, hold or be eligible for Vermont licensure and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (will consider a candidate for Clinical Fellowship Year)

The SLP works with an integrated team to develop appropriate treatment plans to maximize outcomes. In addition, the staff Speech-Language Pathologist promotes communications of patient care information among team members. 
Education requirements include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language pathology from an accredited program as well as a current state license and ASHA Certification. Experience in a health care setting is preferred.

Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont, has an opening for an Audiologist at our St. Albans ENT clinic.
This position is a 16 hour a week position.
 
Based in Burlington, Vermont, Fletcher Allen, together with the University of Vermont, is Vermont’s only academic medical center and the sole community hospital for the greater Burlington area. We are a unique integrated health care delivery system and serve as the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. 
 
The Clinical Audiologist is responsible for providing direct audiological services to patients including diagnostic testing, counseling and rehabilitation and works closely with pediatric and HOP patients. These services are offered through out-patient services. Knowledge of standard audiological equipment and techniques including skills used for standardized testing, evaluation of hearing aids and patient/family counseling.
 
Education requirements:
Master's Degree. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (A.S.H.A.). Must also be eligible for current state licensure in hearing aid dispensing and maintain A.S.H.A. certification.

Clincial Assistant Professor - Speech Language Pathologist (posted 3-27-10)
The University of Vermont, Dept of Communication Sciences graduate program has an opening for a  .75FTE,  12 month Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure) position for a speech-language pathologist.  This position opens as soon as July 1, 2010. This person joins a small team of speech-language pathologists and audiologists who provide academic and clinical instruction to graduate students.   
 
The Dept of Communication Sciences, part of the College of Arts and Sciences, has 5 tenure-track faculty and 8 clinical faculty members. We serve people throughout the life span in audiology, voice, fluency, aphasia and cognitive deficits, in our on-campus university clinic the Eleanor M. Luse Center.  Both audiology and speech/language services are provided at the Center by graduate students mentored by clinical faculty.
 
Interested individuals should have experience in direct assessment and treatment of children and/or adolescents and in clinical teaching and mentoring of graduate students. A Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence and at least 5 years of clinical practice are required.
